What we do
We help children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, along with their parents and carers, in many different ways:
Children's services - everything from theatre and music workshops to a toddler and baby group for children with Down's syndrome
Family support - extra help and relief for parents and carers, including specialist support for families with a child with autism spectrum disorder or Down's syndrome
Befriending scheme - the opportunity for young people and adults to do new things and meet new friends
Theatre and arts groups - especially structured for children and young people who want to do something creative
Training and employment services - including a catering course, work experience and volunteering opportunities
Hydrotherapy - scheduled classes and private sessions for people of all ages in our fully equipped pool
Domiciliary care - the chance for people with learning disabilities to decide how and where they want to independently live, with support at home if they need it from our domiciliary care service
Residential and respite care - people with learning disabilities can stay in our fully equipped residences in and around Cambridge for as long as they like
Our community-based activities and personalised support helps people with learning disabilities to do the things they enjoy, make new friends, learn new skills and lead more independent lives.
